I have decided I need to make a bit of room in my house for new and exciting projects, especially in the run up to my book coming out later in the year (oh, did I mention that I have a book coming out? 😄). So, although it will be difficult to part with my past projects as I become attached to each of them, I have decided to restock both my #Folksy and #Etsy shop. And, until 1st May I will be having a spring sale, not only am I offering free postage but you can also get 40% off all of my listed pieces by using the code SPRING40
Before I get back into stitching, now my girls are back in school, I am playing with ideas and using my paints again. Easing myself back into it.
I'm struggling to start a new embroidery at the moment, I'm finding it difficult to focus and plan, I think this has become common during lockdown. After attending a lockdown funeral this morning for my wonderful friend and neighbours (without him my summerhouse would not have been built to the standard it is), I felt like at least trying to sketch, quick drawings without feeling the need to focus on every detail.
Lots of bees this morning, we found this ashy mining bee struggling on the road so we enticed it onto a dandelion which it seemed rather happy about. The buff tailed bumble bee was fast asleep on a dandelion. Remember to leave those dandelions they are an important food source at this time of year.
